Seba
Al-Wehdat, Amman, Jordan
Seba was on the cusp of beginning her career as a teacher when she came across Seenaryo for the first time in 2019.
My journey with Seenaryo transformed my career, and set me on a new path.
Seba grew up in Al-Wehdat Palestinian camp and completed most of her education at schools run by UNRWA, the UN’s agency for Palestinian refugees. It is places like Al-Wehdat where she believes theatre is needed the most, yet the reality is “the people who need it don’t have access to it.”
The first Seenaryo production she took part in was Up to the Light in 2019. It was the first time she’d done theatre since she was a young child and she says, “it brought me back to the place that I love.” Since then she hasn’t stopped doing theatre.

After taking part in and later leading many Seenaryo theatre productions, Seba set up her own theatre company: Art Vision. Through her regular work as a Master Trainer with Seenaryo and leading Art Vision, Seba is transforming the artistic landscape in Amman – opening up creative spaces for communities who rarely have the opportunity to tell their stories in this way.
