Seenaryo launch project with UNDEF
In the run up to the 2026 Lebanese elections, Seenaryo are very excited to be launching a new project: Promoting Youth Engagement through Participatory Theatre in Lebanon.
This project will bring together a diverse group of young people from across Lebanon. The ensemble will devise, rehearse and perform an original play – taking inspiration from the political context in Lebanon. They will then take Seenaryo’s Theatre Leadership Training and receive a small fund to run their own political advocacy project.
Through participatory theatre, we aim to:
- Encourage youth to understand their democratic rights and responsibilities
- Strengthen civil society interaction with government
- Educate local communities on electoral processes
The project is in partnership with SEEDS for Legal Initiatives and funded by the United Nations Democracy Fund.
