Seenaryo is a non-profit arts and education organisation that works with Syrian and Palestinian refugees in Lebanon as well as their host communities. We empower refugees by enabling them to create high-quality art. We build professional capacity among communities by training young people and teachers in facilitation and artistic skills.
Registered in the UK and launched in 2015, Seenaryo works across three strands of programming: Training (e.g. training almost 200 teachers to use creative tools in the classroom in 2017), Participation (e.g. building theatre productions with over 200 children and women in 2017) and Education (using the arts in English teaching).

Seenaryo are seeking an Operations Manager to support the co-Directors in this exciting period of growth for Seenaryo. As a core member of a small team, this versatile and varied role will include being responsible for programme logistics, our communications strategy, day-to-day accounting, reporting for funders, and database management. It involves working closely with our staff team, partner organizations (e.g. Women Now for Development and Yaabad Scout Troupe) as well as our beneficiaries.
Specific responsibilities will include: maintaining website; creating quarterly newsletters; producing content for social media; keeping daily accounts and making payments on behalf of Seenaryo; managing certain programmes; writing funding reports and contributing to applications.
We are looking for someone with an enthusiastic approach, the ability to multitask and experience in communications and organisational development. Experience in education, arts and/or the non-profit sector are strongly preferred.
Fluency in both English and Arabic (written and spoken) are a requirement. Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe suites, CMS management and accounting software are preferred.

Seenaryo are looking to hire one or two teacher trainers on a part-time basis to help deliver training programmes from September 2017. Training days typically take place on weekends, and usually involve travelling outside of Beirut (e.g. the Bekaa). Fees for our trainers are between $150 and $200 per day. Seenaryo’s training programmes include:
- Creative Playkit: training kindergarten teachers to implement the arts with 3- 5 year olds
- Applying Theatre: training schoolteachers to make theatre with their class
- Young Facilitators: training young adults how to lead workshops
Candidates must have:
- Experience working with children in educational settings
- Fluent Arabic and intermediate English
- “Creative Playkit” requires experience with Kindergarten children (KG1, 2, 3)
- “Applying Theatre” & “Young Facilitators” require experience of theatre practice
